Data Pools

Data pools are where you upload and store the data axite generates from. Each pool has its own uploads and objects.

Why multiple data pools?

An engine can have several data pools, isolated from each other, so you can keep differently-shaped types of data separate. You usually have one primary pool with the objects you generate from, and optionally secondary pools you pull from in the workflow (via a Data Pool node) to enrich the primary data.

You only want multiple pools when you genuinely have different kinds of data, for example:

• Products + Brands + Categories
• Hotels + Cities + Countries
